Training Christina Ripken studied biology at the University of Bonn with a specialization in botany and plant nutrition. She additionally holds a Master of Science degree in "Agricultural Science and Resource Management in the Tropics and Subtropics” from the University of Bonn and did her research on resilience and vulnerability of wetland eco systems.
