Research Her research interests focus on the complexities of participation and empowerment projects in community-led development projects, with a keen desire to explore the role of participatory methods and community storytelling networks for peace processes. For her required fieldwork, she will facilitate Participatory Video workshops with farmers in Tanzania as part of critical reflection and feedback, and explore how this learning can inform the wider peace-building agenda.

She built her career abroad and since graduating in 2008, she has lived mainly in different areas of Asia within a development and peacebuilding context. Through her internship with DITSL, she will gain valuable experience in an East-African context.
