Researchers, scientists, extension officers and students involved in agricultural research are invited to participate in an intensive 5-day training course:
PARTICIPATORY VIDEO FACILITATION FOR SOCIALLY INCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH
In the frame of the PhD research project CollAqua aiming to co-develop technical and social innovations for sustainable water resource management with Kenyan smallholder farmers through the application of a Collaborative Learning approach, two research topics for preparation of a Master Thesis are proposed:
a) Co-Identification and Co-Assessment of local Best Water Management Practices on Farm and Community Level (>> download pdf with more details)
b) Understand Water Resource Management on Farm and Community Level using a Systems Approach (>> download pdf with more details)
Data collection in Nakuru County, Kenya, is scheduled for a period of three month (between Juli and November 2020). Candidates would need to apply for scholarships covering travel and living costs abroad; Costs for conducting fieldwork activities, e.g. for local transport and translations will be covered.
